Kwaw Kese gets 1-day jail sentence
with GH¢1,200 fine.
Emmanuel Botchway popularly known as Kwaw Kese has been found guilty of smoking cannabis in public by theKMA Circuit Court.
The court presided over by Justice William Boampong sentenced Kwaw Kese on Thursday to one day in prison and fined him GHc1,200.
Kwaw Kese will go to prison for three years with hard labour if default in paying the GH¢ 1,200.

The controversial rapper was arrested on November 22 2014 for allegedly smoking
cannabis in public and was remanded into prison after making an appearance in court.
he was granted bail on December 30 on health grounds. The court, presided over by Judge William Boampong granted him
80,000 Ghana cedis bail with one surety to be justified.
