Two brothers Michael Owusu Yeboah, eight years and Raymond Owusu Yeboah, six years where burnt beyond recognitionwhen a fuel tanker was discharging the highly inflammable substance at Universal Filling Station at Agric Kokode, a suburb of Kumasi, exploded.
There fire incident which occurred due to fuel spillage, burnt the fuel tanker with vehicle AS 6633-13 registration number and spread to some properties and houses.
The victims live with their grandmother close to the filling station. The children were asleep when the incident occurred.
The bodies of the two children, Raymond and Michael l, have been sent to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Mortuary.
Three victims, the driver of the tanker and two others, who were also injured by the fire, have been admitted at the Komfo
Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) where they are receiving treatment.
