It is a two days festival, comprising of the festivals namely, Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi and Dhulendi.
Holika dahan which is celebrated by gathering and burning of woods and cow dump cakes, the festival is done in the night at the present of full moon and the celebration is done on 5th of march.
holi dhulendi is the festivitie of colours, it the main day for the celebration. People throw different beautiful colour on each other and the festival is done at 6th of march.
