Two Ghanains couples Ellanora Baidoo and Victor Sena Blood - Dzraku got married 2009 .
Thier marriage crashed when Victor went back on a promise to hold a traditional wedding in Ghana. The union never got consummated , and the couple have never lived together as well. Victor left Baidoo nly getting in touch with his wife via phone and Facebook.
Baidoo , a nurse , thus filed for divorce. But her husband cannot be found anywhere, forcing the judge to approve the unconventional serving papers through facebook.
According to Manhattan supreme court ruling....
“Plaintiff is granted permission serve
defendant with the divorce summons using a private message through Facebook”
“This transmittal shall be repeated by plaintiff’ s attorney to defendant once a week for three consecutive weeks or until
acknowledged ”
The divorce file has been sent to victor, but he is yet to reply.
