Her real name has been given as Nana Akosua Apea Antwi, who hails from Akyim Awusa in the Eastern Region.
She has been identified as an old student of the Krobo Girls Senior High School in the Eastern region.
The parents are said to have identified their daughter when her pictures went viral on social media and news websites. The parents have thus travelled to the CID Regional Headquarters in Sekondi where their claim was confirmed.
The presenter, who has worked and stayed in Takoradi for the past few years with Melody FM and now with Y-FM, has paraded herself as a Nigerian national not only with her Nigerian name but also a
Nigerian accent and trait.
The lady at the centre of the Takoradi alleged abduction and sexual assault has been described as someone noted for
concocting stories according to some of her class mates in secondary school.
She is said to have entered the school in 2005 but was expelled in her final year in 2008 for theft, according to some of her
classmates.
According to them, she once faked an asthma attack just to escape punishment.
On another occasion she was said to have tried to poison the student population by attempting to pour acid into the school’s
water source. She was however caught before she could carry out that ordeal, they said.
Some said she used to run away from school to spend days out of campus and claimed to have been raped at a tender age.
One of her seniors Ms Jasmine Arku also confirmed that she knew her as a student of Krobo Girls and that she was behind
her by one year.
Doctors at the GPHA Hospital who also carried out tests on her have concluded that the lady was not raped as was assumed by her nude pictures that went viral on Monday.
The latest revelations are emerging a day after a team of doctors, psychologists and the police interviewed her. The interviewers said it was difficult soliciting information from her since she was
suffering from Bipolar disorder.
The police would be transferring the lady to the national headquarters in Accra for further investigations and prosecution.
The police are also on the lookout for her accomplices.
