On Wednesday Afternoon a helicopter carrying some consignment of gold from the Obuasi Mine of Anglogold Ashanti to Accra crash landed at Esuofua, a remote village near Akyem Oda in the Eastern region.
The helicopter crashed in a thick forest at Esuofua near Asuboi and it was difficult for fire officers and police from the Eastern region to arrive at the scene of the crash.
The three people on board including the pilot survived as the helicopter didn't exploded.
